Service is quick, seating is almost immediate, food quality has gotten much better. They have added extra seating and most large parties are usually seated in the back (so that's appreciated). Price is reasonable for all the variety and since its usually busy, food remains pretty fresh and kept tidy! They even have senior pricing!

This is a hidden gem. Just let the butcher know what you want. You can choose the soy sauce chicken, salt chicken, duck, pork belly. Their duck is so good and everything is a decent price. Plus you don't have to wait in line unlike sam woo's next door

I have been going here for as long as I can remember. AMAZING you tiao dou jiang, reminds me of China. Get there early if you want it for breakfast because it sells out quick. Their duck is super good, egg drop soup is really good, sesame balls with red bean paste are insanely delicious. Everything is oily but it's Chinese food so eh what do you expect. There's a bakery next door too that's pretty good if you want something like 85 degrees.

5 Stars because the portions were huge, price is very affordable, and it was delicious. My boyfriend and I came here to get some snacks and then I wanted Chinese food so he and I decided to take a look. We both eat a lot, but nonetheless, the 3-entree combo was more than enough. We were both surprised when we saw her dumping in huge amounts. Too much that the 3rd side choice was put in a separate container. And it comes with a little cup of soup! I think it was all around $7.50 with tax. Pretttyyyy nice. Definitely coming again when we are craving some fast food Chinese food. Hehe

Affordable! 2 item combo is only $5.99 plus tax. If you're in a rush and want something fast or you want to be nice to your wallet then this is the place to come. I often come here inside of the BBQ express in sam woo (next door) because gourmet kitchen takes credit cards! Food is usually good and they give you a lot of different choices. Besides entrees, they also have breakfast as well if you come early in the morning. 4 stars because they close pretty early and some of the employees have attitudes. Nevertheless, it's a place to go when you want affordable and fast Chinese food. A lot more authentic then Panda Express that's for sure!

Randomly found this hole in the wall/jewel on a random day Tasty Garden was closed for no apparent reason. It is located in the 99 Ranch Market food court area. I was impressed by the selection, prices, and most importantly their dim sum offerings that extend to 7:30pm! They sold out of pork shu mai by the time I was there though so I'd have to come back. I definitely recommend the noodles over the rice as the rice was the only thing that was bland/underwhelming I got from two 3-item orders. The male staff was kind of grumpy/grouchy but I don't typically care for that kind of stuff and was able to order mostly by pointing (even though I do speak their language, Cantonese).

YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!! ***Located INSIDE 99 RANCH MARKET!** So I'm surprised this place doesn't have it's own yelp page yet, because this place is a total hidden gem. I actually shouldn't be writing a review because now the line will be longer than ever. Forgive me lover! So the only reason why I know of this place is because lover says he always sees a long line, out the door for breakfast on the weekends. He's eaten here for lunch but never for breakfast. So we wanted to check this place out and see what the hoopla was all about. The first time was 2 weeks ago and we came close to lunch. Good and bad? The food was 1. Amazing, delicious, tasty! 2. It was hella cheap. The bad was that we came so late that there wasn't much left. But whatever was left, was again... YUMMY!! We had: -fried dumpling 4 stars -green onion pancake 4 stars -leek pocket 4.5 sars! -salted soybean 5 stars!! My ultimate favorite of those dishes is the salted soybean "drink". I've had others before where they make it sweet soybean milk or tofu desserts but never salted soybean. This is the second place where I've had this and this totally blew me away! Even lover who's accustomed to this type of dish says this place makes excellent salted soybean drink. So to describe it, it has chunks of tofu, with tiny diced pickled cabbage, dried shredded pork, and my favorite is the crunchy crullers. It has good depth, seasoned well, and my favorite, EXTREMELY affordable!! So I can go on and on about the delicious food they cook here but then you'll be here forever. **Also Warning! Please don't look at the pictures I took because it isn't very easy on the eyes. The food is not aesthetically pleasing on the eyes but don't let that fool you! That's why I say if you're willing to be adventurous and try new food, this is something worth trying. I've been back for a second time and it was still good. Muy Bueno!!!
